Tony has winkled out a dazzling epigram. Presently when the pipes of Pan hearld the arrival of Spring, the old withered will become a new creation. I think I see already new budding leaves punctuating the vibrant moments of the downcast branches. Here is the embryo of a great saga of Wagnerian proportions, (By the way I am drinking Irish whisky as I write) Spring has not yet come to the tall guardians of "the blasted heath" a Shakesbearean reference from the unforgettble Ladyy of Nancy Manningham in Mc Master's presentation of fifty years ago.
