Thanks

Hi Benedetta
Thanks for your friendly message and your offer of help. We have booked accommodation found on the web and arranged the main ideas for where we want to see, concentrating on the somewhat less frequented regions of Umbria and Abruzzo.
However we have some 'spare days' and information on what to see in them would be valued.
We shall stay 2 nights in Trevi and 2 in Spello. Which other Umbrian cities would you suggest in day trips from them – or local walks?
Ideas for a short time in Modena and up to half a day in Lucca would also be helpful.
No hurry!
Thanks again
David

Welcome

Hi Benedetta
Welcome to Globo. I hope you enjoy this friendly multi-national site as much as i do.
My wife and I are flying from Leeds to Milano in May at the start of a trip to Umbria and Abruzzo.
I tried learning the language but found I was getting it hopelessly confused with Spanish. I think it must be easier for Spanish or Italian people to learn the other language. At least you won't confuse Spanish with Italian.
If you have any questions on the site, look at the faq forum. if necessary, leave a question there and one of us will try to answer it.
Cheers,
David
