The red Palace shows very well in this angle. Are these prayer flags flying near to your camera?

plancarpin - Aug, 02 2008 04:08pm
Hi Hugh, thanks for yr comments!
the prayer's flags were hung on the building adjacent to my hotel (Tibet Gurkha's Hotel, in the old town); to allow a nice view of the Potala, one had to climb on the hotel's roof, otherwise the view was hidden by flags

Great picture; I think the prayer flags adds a bit of a flare to the building. Nice one!

plancarpin - Aug, 03 2008 02:08pm
thanks mistybleu! more to come... ;-)

Photos dense with meaning. The majesty of the mountain seems to want to protect the knowledge preserved in the monastery.

What say ... Wow, Andrea.

plancarpin - Aug, 18 2008 04:08am
Grazie mille Andrea!

Oh! This picture is like the one posted by Isabelle yesterday. But you were first!

pesu - Nov, 13 2008 10:11am
Isabelle's pic is very nice, but your's is great because of the composition, the colours and the light.
