Globo's a great site, making it easy for people to share valuable travel information - whether they be planning a trip or just want to talk about what they've seen and done.
Thanks for sharing your incredible photos. I live in a cold spot (midwest USA) and just recently returned from the middle east...seeing the clear blue water and the spectacular sunsets on your site really brought me back.
Fantastic job...I look forward to checking out your reports.
Just read the article...thanks a lot for sharing...the best thing about it is simplicity, the account of what not to miss, what to expect of the services n at what prices...and last but not the least...the description of the area, complete with photographs...
Thank you very much for reading my reports and commenting on them. I am so pleased that my Giverny report brought back happy memories for you. Giverny is, as you know, magical – one of the finest tourist diversions that I have experienced in France!
I have been visiting Thailand for 35 years (since I was a boy ;-)) and am now lucky enough to spend several months a year there. I like Southern Thailand very much, although the terrorist troubles there earlier this year prevented me from visiting its border region with Malaysia. Instead, I drove some 3000 km around central and northern Thailand. Thailand, away from Bangkok, is such a great country to drive around. Car hire, fuel, food and lodging (away from the trendy resorts) are very cheap and, it is easy to navigate and even read road signs, probably because they are also in English!!
During my next visits from my Thai base we have many more side trips planned. Lao, Cambodia, Viet Nam and hopefully trips into less busy parts of China (now that Bangkok Airways have extended their destinations there) are all being eagerly awaited. The main overland journey that I have planned will cover Ranong (with a return ferry to Burma) and then a drive down the west coast through Trang into Malaysia and returning up the east coast of Thailand, through Narathiwat, Hat Yai and Nakhon Si Thammarat back again to Koh Samui.
I do enjoy your most professional reports very much. – I particularly liked the Trang one as well as the Dublin report

You're driving me nuts here...sitting in this office in Paris (which isn't that bad!) and I got lost in some of your pics. TAKE THEM OFF LINE NOW or I am going to have to quit work altogether, throw on a backpack, and go go go...very nice shots. I want want want to go back!
