...very good pictures of Holland and specially of Amsterdam in you report :-) I gave my pictures away to relatives and am not sure I have the negatives still ;-( but am sure i'll visit there again oneday...

wow, nice report! I think you have spend a long time writing with... I always wanted but I never been there, and its only about 400 km from Frankfurt away! Hopefully I will make it one day...

thanks for the message and looking my pictures. Yes, I have a lot of them at home, but most taken with a normal camera, not digital. So once a while I am scanning them, but it is a lot of work.
Have you been to south america or asia yet (backpacking) ???

I enjoyed your report on Versailles tremendously. I do agree that for people with time constraints should forego the grand trianon. I didn't realise how huge the castle grounds was until it hit me when I reached the basin, on my way there from the main castle. I was walking fast so it really tired me out!.. The grand trianon was as impressive as the main castle, but nevertheless it was an experience.
Btw, is le hammeau also called 'Queen's Hamlet'??. Just curious as I was looking at the map.

thank you for giving me so much information about photography,now i will try to implement this and i wish i can produce good results ,i will upload them on next wekk starting and then i will trouble you again to review as if i have improved or not.
