how fascinated I am by your pics of this magical lake and the life around. Very nice to have them now collected in a beautiful slide show - thank you! :)

Hi there, sorry about the chat mishap..
My wife and I had a sudden change of plans, deciding to make Peru the first coutry to visit, left us with very little time to plan, and therefore your help is highly appreciated :)
we're arriving october 28th, and will travel in Peru in November, and possibly early to mid December as well.
Our main concern is weather; We would like to travel at least in the following destinations (while we will more than welcome any other ideas :) - Huaraz and area, Cuzco and area, Iquitos and area, Lake Titicaca and area.
Do you think any of this destinations is problematic weatherwise, or should be visited as early as possible to try to avoid weather conditions ? do you think other destination are more attractive in this time of year ? are some of the destinations problematic as out-of-season? also, if you have any idea regarding how to make a route out of those points, that will also be great (especially where from/to and how to arrive to Iquitos)

Thanks so much for your comments on the album and report. If you ever really consider going, let me know and I'll give you some more info. There's so many hiking trails there that there's one for every hiking ability. Thanks again!

Eire, thanks for you comments on my Tiksi report.
I see that you again traveled to Guatemala and Honduras, you must already speak Spanish!

Central America is still on the top of my travel list. But whenever go to the Caribbean I have to visit family, so I never seem to get the chance to see regional places. Anyway one day...
Was your trip an organised one with a guide et al or did you go up the volcano on your own (so to speak)?
Unfortunately no real plans for this year. Back to the Caribbean in December and not much else. I suppose technically - well after last year, this has been a quiet year for me on the travel front. But I have a lot of plans for next year.
