Just wandered in your site...looks good and I loved your pics of Japan. I lived in Fukui, not far from Nagoya, for a year. I am now living in Paris and you reminded me a lot of my time in Japan and made me homesick. :( Happy traveling!
Thanks for the warm welcome to Globosapiens =) How are you doing? How is the weather in Tampa? Do you have any major travelling plans for the big holiday weekend =)
I want to send a belated welcome to you. Sorry, but this is the first time that I have noticed anything about you in Globosapiens. (I have my summers off, since I teach at a small college up here in Illinois.) Keep up with the excellent photos and articles; and continue travelling.
It is wonderful to see a pretty face and a pleasant smile mixed in with all of us old men.
just realised that I never said THANK YOU for your comment on my report on Nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I will be writing some more on the South of France soon.
I think it's one of the best birthday presents you can get. What will it be next year? I'am thinking about going to the Bahamas next year. Do you have any suggestions what time year it is the best to visit the islands?

I loved the report but those shots of the beaches just did it for me. Ive got a few photos from my travels I would love to share with everyone on here but there all old school and in albums. Im pretty cluless about all this technology stuff, have you any tips that may help the new boy? If you have ..cheers, if you hav'nt...cheers!!
Thanks so much for reading my article. I used Avis on this trip - they were the cheapest of the big four. I always join the frequent user clubs of the car hire companies; it makes airport pick up hassle free, it also attracts upgrades more frequently and gives you the best available rates.
From month to month or promotion to promotion Avis, Budget, Hertz and National are all competing with each other. Join each club (it's free) and before you leave home check online for the latest quote from each car hire company. Sometimes your airline has a special promotional deal with a particular car hire company - but always double check that it is you who are getting that discount - not the airline!
Michelin Green Guides (in English) Michelin Red Guide (in French) and Michelin maps all co-ordinate and are a wise buy. Similarly, the Michelin website has a route planner to use.

Hi Michelle
Thank you very much for your kind comment on my botswana article. The price for the whole journey was quite high as we stayed in the deception valley lodge first and ended our holidays in sambia in a luxury hotel for a couple of days just to relax and wash away the sands of the kalahari....
The 10 days camping safari with cc africa is this year $1750 the trip is called botswana explorer safari expedition next years prices will go up to $2275...
It's a lot of money but worth every penny.
Look out for more animal pictures to come in my picture gallery in the following months.
Have a nice day and happy travels
Martin
Thanks for reading and even rating my report. I'm delighted that you thought it a "good read"..... I enjoyed the trip and could recommend it to anyone. It would be easy for you to do because in France they drive on the same side of the road as America!
