Thank you for sharing your pictures of a city that will mostly likely never be the same again. It was wonderful to appreciate te Southern Splender even if only for a brief moment.
While checking out your New Orleans pics, I was amused to see the plaque commemorating "nothing happened" as I have a picture of its identical twin, taken in the west of Ireland! Same date and everything. I wonder where else they may be found? Which was first? Why 1897? So many questions. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
