Do not be sorry! all children of my era worked even as young as 8 or 9 to earn some pennies for extras, these are not bad memories but good ones, children nowadays have everything provided that is why there is so much young crime, it all comes too easy and youngsters expect too much for nothing, I do not regret working for my pocket money. Now everybody knows the cost of everything and the value of nothing, Regards, Tony.

You are very good for my ageing memory, when I was about 14 I used to unload timber barges about a mile from here at weekends to earn some money, thank you!, Tony.

Congratulations on an excellent series of pictures depicting aspects of my homeland, seen through your eyes, I will in future be more aware of the treasures that we are lucky to have here, Thanks, Tony.

Thanks for showing these latest pics of birthplace, it brings to mind the fact that most Londoners are not aware of the treasures that are within arms reach of them, these would make a nice slide show, well done. Tony.

Hi Basia,
yes, I was truly very insecure if I should make a Flowers album on a travel site... ;-) I tried to explain this in the introduction of the album and .... fortunately up to now nobody complained about it. I am glad you liked the pics! Thanks. :)
Best regards - Petra
