Not a museum just a well kept and famous botanical place with parts dating back to the seventh century. It is set behind Table Mountain on a 528 hectare reserve of which 36 hectares is cultivated and pathed to best present 9000 species of plants. Most flower in the spring of the southern hemisphere around August to October. European visitors will stown at the glory of this plant kingdom! Open every day of the year, sundays is picnic day with live evening music concerts..... Plants love rythem too!!!!!
