Shiraz - Iran, Fårs Ancient Persians refrained from using manmade objects, such as statues, altars,and images to represent their gods. However, they did utilize one symbol, which consisted of a winged ring.This emblem represented royal power insted of divine strength.The ring was later developed into a Zoroastrian symbol.
