Bronx Zoo - Baboon Enclosure's by siffer

New York - United States, New York The 5 acre baboon enclosure is considered one of the finest baboon habitats in the world. The enclosure can be viewed from the outdoor walkways, an enclosed building, but best from the Samba Village dining area. Gelada baboons are from a small highland area in eastern Africa. Very active, their troop periodically takes off on a run over the hills. Much of their time is spent in grooming. Here, grooming with a rock hyrax in the foreground.
