The number of comments each image has should be indicated somewhere in a community or members picture list or perhaps a special feature/tool should be created. In the beginning of "commenting" we were against being notified by email everytime a picture was commented on but perhaps if the comment could be shown WITHIN the email this would too be an option. Till then, I try add the photographers name to the photo so that she/he might see in the "24-hour review" or "last login-review" that there was a comment made. Marianne also does this very well. Display options: In the picture galleries the date of capture is shown. Instead of that rather show the number of comments? Alternatevly replace the "times viewed" in a members gallery list, both these infos I always found useless in a summary. Other than building in another digital counter, an easy task for a web-designer? Some Globies had the excellent idea of start their comments on pictures with the name of the person that took it. It was useful to see when my pictures where commented by them. We miss so many comments about our pictures because we haven't noticed someone has made a comment. If at all possible this would be a good addition to the site. At this time the default setting for the "Sort After" combo box is according to "Rating" and the owner of the site can not change this default setting. But I think owner of the site might want to change this default setting to "date posted" or "popularity" or "date taken", for ex. if owner selects "date posted" as default, he/she can show his/her new pics to the visitors automatically or by selecting "popularity", visitors can see the most popular pics of that site. just an idea and I don t want to bother you of course in your busy days:) regards, --- Burak Reply    Reply with quote    Contact madness   Page: 1 2
