Sorry for two posts at once, but I also remembered I wanted to ask about Puerto Rico. When I went to upload a report on San Juan, Puerto Rico was not listed as it's own country, but also was not included as part of the U.S. Help! :)

Hello Polly,

thanx for your notice. Currently we are working on a new system where members can add locations to the list. It will come up this month. In the meanwhile feel free to pick on out of the 2.6 million available :-) I see the point as I tryed to write a report myself on a city not listed. It is not an easy task, but as it is highly recommended it will be available soon.

Thank you for your pations,

Andy

i don't know if this is a really stupid question as it's not a city but is there any chance of including everest base camp on your list or the region. It's an excellent place full of trekkers, there's no accomodation there (other than your own tent) but the walk up has lots of villages and although i'm personally in love with the place, i think that other globies might find some inspiration too! I'd like people to know how easy it is to see the most amazing landscape in the world!

Would you risk it, for a biscuit?

Hello fellow GLOBO members,

thank you all for your valuable suggestions. This feature, one of the most requested ever, is now available!

Pitch your landmark into undiscovered soil and suggest it. Go to "publish report" and you will see the new "landmark" picture. Suggest a city and if we list it on GLOBOsapiens.net, the city will be your landmark and listed inside your activities folder.

Happy discouvering!

Andy

What makes a city? Don't we meen "nearest city or town"? If so, please add the towns on Gozo Island (Malta); Xaghra, Ghanjsielem, Xlendi and Zebug. What about remote places that have a population of about 10 inhabitants like Qawra (near San Lawrenz - Malta) and Saint Bartholoma on Konnigsee - Germany)? I suppose they need a mayor or sheriff to qualify for the list!

I'm submitting pictures and reports on Tunesia and will be using closest city/town names as found in the database. The following towns which I would have liked to use could not be found: Chott el Jrid (Salt lake side dwelling), Jorf, Mides (a super canyon set village), Musti, Sufetula/Sbeitla, Selja, Sidi Meta, Thyna, Tijma, Uthtina and Utica. They are not very big places but in the desert settlements are very wide appart, a days-trip far from the next city. Proper maps and city lists for Tunesia are rare I must say and some places have different names in 4 languages!

(Fantastic web-site and reference to the above names: www.tunesie.starttips.com)
