it is the start point to go ABBU SIMBEL, the most imponent temple in Egipt, its about 300 km far, and crossing de NUBIAN dessert is an amazing tour. It takes about four hours by car, bus, or van to get there. We left ASSUAN at four o,clock a.m. and arrived to the temple at about half past eight a.m. We saw on route by the dessert the sunrise, herds of camels, mirages, landscapes of dunes, and it was great. YASSER, our driver, stopped the van when the SUN comes up on the horizon and offered TEA, he was very kind and we did not have any problem with the minibus.
