I reach Brunei from Kota Kinabalu (Sabah, Malaysia) by quick boat. It take about 4 hours. Brunei officially the State of Brunei Darussalam is a very small islamic country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo.

For most european countries tourists can enter Brunei for up to 30 days without having to obtain a visa.

Brunei is completely surrounded by the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. Head of state is His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.

The official religion of Brunei is islam at 67 percent, and the sultan is the head of the religion in the country.

Bandar Seri Begawan is is the capital and largest city of the Sultanate of Brunei.

Kampong Ayer, or the Water Village that is situated in the middle of the Brunei River. 39,000 people live in the Water Village.

The Water Village is made up of small villages linked together by more than 29 km of foot-bridges, consisting of over 4000 structures including homes, mosques, restaurants, shops, schools, and a hospital. 36 km of boardwalks connect the buildings. Private water taxis provide rapid transit.

The capital city incorporates a nearby water village, Kampong Ayer, which has houses on stilts and stretches about 8 km along the Brunei river (Sungei Brunei). It is a well preserved national heritage site. The Kampong is over 1,000 years old.
