Shaped like a teardrop, this untamed tropical paradise is situated at the tip of the Indian peninsula. Traces of the British colonial occupation, superb beaches, Ceylon tea and a culture of its own, all add to the wonders of Sri Lanka.

Wedding
Make a stop at MT LAVINIA, a small beach resort only 12km from Colombo to catch the spectacular sunset. I was told that many couples from overseas, love to get married on the beach, and how true it was on that day! I saw two couples from UK tying the knots on the beach with the sunset as their backdrop. It was indeed very romantic!!
Well done yet again. Another 5 star report! This is an excellent well constructed and written article which is beautifully illustrated. I look forward to visiting Sri Lanka later this month.
