Edfu is located up river from Kom Ombo, It is famous for the Temple of Horus, udjat eye of Horus, It is a very large temple dedicated to Horus the Falcon headed God! It is also one of the newly discovered temple and much of the etchings are fresh looking.
Favourite spots:
all of Edfu is great. there are many places within the temple to check out and there are also ruins of an old city in the background
What's really great:
checking out the hidden spots within the temple, walking through the courtyards
