Very nice city with a lot of history and excellent museums. Very good club scene as well. And decent shopping. THe parks are very nice and relaxing in the summer.
Favourite spots:
A lot of very good restaurants, but too many Starbucks, like 5 on every street.
What's really great:
The Tate Modern is absolutely fantastic. As is the National Gallery.
