Reno is called the biggest little city in the world, it sure is a small version of Las Vegas. Reno is full of Hotels and Casino's, so a real tourist area. Not a lot of foreign tourists are seen here, but mostly Americans. I guess the foreign tourists all pick Las Vegas. Reno is located in the desert in Nevada, the state of Nevada doesn't have many to offer except casino's and the desert and some mountains. But Reno was worth the visit. Because there are no real mountains in Holland I kind of liked the area. But I've seen more beautiful mountains, the main reasen to go there is have a great time in the casino. I was 17 at the time we went there so I couldn't play in the casino, but there are many gaming rooms for youth.
Favourite spots:
We stayed at the Circus Circus Hotel, which has a big casino and a lot of games for the youth, which makes it a perfect family hotel.
What's really great:
The gaming room is like a fair, with in the middle on a plateau a circus. This makes it very attractive for kids. It also has a great arcade room.
