Wine has been in human societies from time immemorial.Except for countries where religion forbids alcohol drinking,world over wines are savored,cultured and creations center round the classic drink.Italy hosts for over last 30 and odd years,the fair.

Around 100,000 and odd visitors from almost all over the world,clustered round the huge and spaciously built halls,booths,stalls and kiosks for those 4 days of late March.It housed prominant,big,small and medium sized wine producers mostly from Italy.With their best.
The worldover awareness of the organizers,Veronafiere is carried on by respective representatives.
The variety,the enthusiasm,the zeal were the elements seen all around from the hour,gates were opened to the end of thae day.
All my associates to whose production units,I had just visited mostly in Tuscany and its neighboring regions,were present.Messimo Sensi,Frdinando Guicciardini,Castello di Meleto,Castelo di Volpaia,Baron Ricasoli,Caparzo,Altesino and finally Anna Lisa Tempestini.
There were presentations,launching,tasting,food pairing and cellebrations,like 10th yeaar of Allegrini,30th of Piccini and many others.massive tasting sessions were organized by the famous publishers,Gambero Rosso.It was a great annual show which must have resulted in multi million Dollar business deals and collaborations.The show has equally given chance to innovations and opportunities for unknown ones to come up the surface.
I returned after my maiden visit with the promise,'Shall retrn next year,for sure.

| Favourite spots: |

The bonhomie,the fellowship and great bondage amongst producers,buyers and consumers.The historical city then offered a vast area,centrally placed to laze around and do parties till late nights.The city center and its stone brick roads are broad and receptive to overflowing crowds,specially during Vinitaaly days.Every year they look forward to their fellow workers to meet and have a glass of wine there.

The heart center of Verona
|

The vastness and variety,the arrangement and the response from the world of wines.The city so vibrant aand tourist friendly has a good number of expatriates settled there with business of fast foods aand beverages.One was the Punjaabi young man next to the hostel where I stayed,up the hill and next to the fort,few centuries old.Seems,India's state of Punjab has quite a good number of her citizens,well settled in Verona.

They made the show successful
|

1.More short time accomodation for visitors,the merrier,specially during the Vinitaly show days.2.More publicity of available beds within Verona is desired.

Moderate and decent.Though wine makers of long time experience and expertise like Claudio Basla of Altesino,Tuscany seen in the next picture attending his guests at his booth did also insist," at the end of the day at Vinitaly,we are supposed to gather around friends and celebrate every evening with good dinners and lots of wines of our choice".That is the spirit of the show.

Lights,shows,eateries and late night entertainments are the main elements at the city center of the historical city Verona,specially after aa heavy and hard laborious day at Vinitaly show.Every wine lover seeks a cool moment then with friends and associates.
