This is where the anual Tourout Werchter takes place. This is a major music festival with, mostly, extremely good acts. Lots of camping-places, lot's of stands, and most important, lot of toilets where you can also fetch water. One main-stage, one tent and an amateur prodium where anyone can play.
Favourite spots:
The wheelchair ramp. If you get to sit here, you have a brilliant vew of the main-stage, and you're not bothered by the drunk people.
What's really great:
Werchter has a lot more of the good, old festival sphere than most festivals nowadays. The lineup is always amazing!
Sights:
There's not much else around. Wercher is in the middle of the country-side, but there's more than enough to look at around the festival.
Accommodations:
Camping: Your camping is included in a weekend-ticket.
Rooms: There are quite some farmers around who rent out rooms. Some also sell water for bizarre prices.
