Guides are really needed. And also the porters for the tents, meals, gas, etc... You can't go by your own to do the treking. I'm just back of it. What a great experience!! The 4 days treking is wonderful. You see some Inca constructions during the walk, the views are fantastic, especially the third day, sometimes is really hard, as during the second day!!!, you have to be ready to go up hundreds of inca steeps from the 3.000 meters of altitude till the 4.200 meters, where the breath is more difiult and your heart beats faster. Thanks to the Coca leefs!!!! But all is ok just to see at the end the spectacular Machupicchu!!! Only compared with the Angor Wat temples in Cambodia. Dani! OH!
