Hi Dani,

great! You are on the go again. Can't say how much I would give to be out there in Peru as well! Keep us up to date with your travel log if you find the time.

Its pretty empty so far. Drop us a few lines once in a while and you might get mentioned inside the next newsletter as GLOBOsapiens on the go.

Have fun whatever you do,

Andy

I was just reading in my guidebook that guides are now mandatory on the inca trail. Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks

Yeah! Guides are really needed.

And also the porters for the tents, meals, gas, etc...

You can't go by your own to do the treking.

I'm just back of it.

What a great experience!!

The 4 days treking is wonderful.

You see some Inca constructions during the walk, the views are fantastic, especially the third day, sometimes is really hard, as during the second day!!!, you have to be ready to go up hundreds of inca steeps from the 3.000 meters of altitude till the 4.200 meters, where the breath is more difiult and your heart beats faster.

Thanks to the Coca leefs!!!!

But all is ok just to see at the end the spectacular Machupicchu!!!

Only compared with the Angor Wat temples in Cambodia.

Dani!

OH! I paid 180 usd$ (Maybe it can be a useful info for you?)

I'm going to Peru and Ecuador from 14th July 04 till 29th September 04 and I'm looking for people who are interested in travelling around with me. Maybe you are also planning a trip to South America and we could do something together? Would be great to hear from you!
