BVO offers meaningful volunteer opportunities aiming to find alternative
solutions to issues of education, Orphanage Homes, Health, and
Environment. Through volunteering, volunteers can develop solutions to
issues in the Nepali community and also experience a memorable and unique
adventure.Here at BVO we seek to provide a unique experience which combines
volunteering and other activities to give you a greater understanding of
Nepali culture which you can then use in your work as a volunteer.
Our program- Available Placement
-Teaching English at government/private boarding School---All over in Nepal
-Home-stay and cultural exchange programs -----All over in Nepal
-Assist in Orphanage Home-------Kathmandu,Pokhara and Chitwan
-Teach and learn at monastery-----Only at Kathmandu
-Primary health care and medical program --------Kathmandu,Pokhara,Chitwan
and all over in Nepal)
-Working in agricultural fields------------(All over in Nepal)
-Work at disabled care house----------(Kathmandu,Pokhara and Chitwan)
-Environmental issues--------------(Chitwan)
-Health and sanitation issues---------(Chitwan,Pokhara,Kathmandu)
-School and community maintenance------(POkhara,Chitwan and Kathmandu)
-Social work with local youth club and organization---(Chitwan and Pokhara)
NOTE-(1)Volunteers are welcome to design their own program in a variety of
areas.If you would like to work in a particular field we will support you
to arrange all the necessary things.
Program Location-
Our volunteer placements are available Specially at Kathmandu valley,
Pokhara,Chitwan and Hetauda.All of the placements are nearby a major city
or town.Generally we will choose the location of your volunteer placement
according to demand, however, we can also discuss a particular placement
in accordance with your needs and interests taking into account the safety
of our volunteers and availability of placements.
Program Requirement-
We do not ask for any formal qualifications from our volunteers. All we
ask is that you have a genuine desire to help people and are willing to
experience a new culture and lifestyle.
Program schedule-
Our programs run throughout the year. You can volunteer from 2 weeks and
up to 5 months. We are quite flexible with program starting dates.
