Last sunday I have met Talat from Islamabad/ Pakistan, here in Frankfurt.
We spend a great day together, exploring the sights and watching the "Dragon-Boat-Race" on Main-river.

walking the Glen Affric in two days with my son (5yrs), a almost total cross from east to westcoast, 10 miles on each side are missed.
Applecross penninsula at the west coast
exploring Trotternish, the north of Isle of Skye
enjoying the seafood at Oban

driving all the way down to cape tainaron, found lots of really hidden beaches - too cold to swim... further south rolling hills, less vegetation. Vathia village, houses like fortresses. amazing sunset coloring the sea. spring seams to be the most beautiful season here - flowers everywhere

had a nice greek coffee at the canal of Korinth, sunrise! - Via Tripoli and Sparti to Githeo in the south of peloponnes. gateway to the wild Mani peninsula.

arrived 3am at the intl airport of athens, pick up car, drive to Korinthos to the famous canal.
Traffic in athens is terrible - my navigation sys guiding me through the city center...
Advice to selfdrivers: take the highway!!!
Arrival at the canal by 5 - its too dark, waiting sunrise!

bought flight tickets at the domestic airport in Manila, 2 hrs later arrived at Bohol, Visayas. Island is famous for a special mountain formation called "chololade hills"
By Taxi to Panglao Island, just nearby, 20 km away from airport. Beautiful beach: Alona Beach - quite because of the low season, windy and strong waves, rented a bungalow with sea view...
