This was the first time I have left the country and it was AMAZING! My mom and I went to Oslo, Norway. We left on the second day of my spring break vacation. We flew from State College Pa, to Detroit Michigan. There we sat in the airport for an hour. (I have been in quite a few airports since, and Detroit's is the worst) We had then an 8 hour flight to Amsterdam, which I thought was amazing. We flew over Ireland at night, which was totally mind blowing. We landed in Amsterdam, and went to the train station. We then were on the train for 2 hours. That was an beautiful train ride. We went through the mountains and down through the valleys. I remember once I looked out the window and we were along this river with all there luscious green trees around, and I fell asleep, and I woke up about 10 minutes later, and we were up on top of the mountain with about 2 feet of snow. My mom and I spent 1 week in Norway. It was absolutely amazing. I walked around alone for the day. I went to museums. And I also saw my old guitar teacher who now lives there. I just loved it and am thinking about going back the live there for a year after I graduate highschool.
