Jun 19, 2008 06:00 PM Barcelona, Italia, and Germany!!

I haven´t had alot of time to write in this lately!!!

Barcelona- Absolutely incredible!! I had a hostel write on the water and tanned for the first day I was there!! Then I went to see Les Rambla and the barri quarter which had some interesting culture and buildings. Went to the Museu Picasso which has art from when he was 13. Also went to a museum which had some information on Catalan history!!

Rome- Another city with incredible monuments and architecture. Got to see the coloseum and the vatican city and the fountain di trevi and the Spanish steps!

Berlin- SO far my favorite city!!

Just got here yesterday and went on a walking tour of Berlin which had all the wonderful sites of Berlin. The reichstag, memorial sites, the gate that I can´t remember the name of, the Adlon hotel where michael Jackson dangled his baby Blanket out of!! and of course the berlin wall and other very cool sites.

I am however, going to run out of time at the internet cafe that Im in and I think this will be the last note Ill be able to write before I come back.

Shout out to Nicole and John for beign the only ones to write in mz guestbook!!

See you all very soon!!

Jun 08, 2008 06:00 PM Ireland and Paris

Helloo hello!!

What can I say.. the past week has been quite busy and exciting!

Ireland was gorgeous and I got to go up to the countryside (though it was raining) and see Mal-de-hide castle and its gardens as well as get a great idea of what Dublin is like. Despite getting my purse stolen- Dublin was a great place to stay for a couple of days. I got lost a couple of times which let me see the back roads and interesting parts of Dublin. I also got to see a REAL Irish pub with traditional Irish music and had Guiness in every pub I went to (it's true- it really is better in Ireland). Overall a great stay!!

Paris was incredible... such a beautiful city with so many sites to see. Every road you look down is picture worthy. I experienced Paris through a Parisian who sat me down by the Seine with Wine and a baguette (quite hilarious and corny) apparantely most people in Paris do this! And they did, it was the one place that didn´t have any tourists, quite nice. I also went to Versaille, into the Chateau which is absolutely breath taking. The intricate details of everything was mind boggling- as well as the contrasts of the inside designs and the inside to the mass of gardens on the outter. I will never forgot Versailles!!

Saw the Louvre- INCREDIBLE- the outside of the building was quite a sight! Sandstone building surrounding a huge court yard with fountains that sun bathers flock to. Beautiful!

Can't wait until the next thing I see!!

Love to everyone!

Julian

May 31, 2008 06:00 PM British Adventures

Week one- London

So far so good- and safe!

The flight was a bit trying- slept for about an hour when I first got on- but that was all! So the jet lauge has been pretty bad, but I'm working it out alright and managing to stay awake while I'm out and about!

Went into central London with the people I'm staying with while i'm here (Leslie and Matt and their kids, who have been very helpful and great!) on Friday, saw alll the touristy things to see, like big ben, west minister, buckingham palace, London Eye and covent garden. All great fun. Then went out to party it up in Uxbridge where Matt and Leslie live, which was a great crazy time.

Saturday I went into central London on my own- walked around Soho and found the gay village! It's a street called old compton, It has a bunch of gay drinking spots and so I went into a couple and met some interesting people- a group that was from essex and were completed trashed by 4 in the afternoon. Really neat shops. Got lost finding my way back but eventually did.

Today going to Manchester and actually I should be going to get ready now so that I don't miss my train!

Love and miss you all who know that I love ya.
