I'm just back from a tough tour in southern Ethiopia... 2 hours time difference, but 8000 years jet lag!! I visited a lot of remote tribes, including the Mursi, and endangered Karo tribes; 3700 pix taken...allow me a couple of days to upload the best ones;

This year, I will celebrate VChristmas twice!
34 days to go and I will be on the flight to Addis Ababa! just on time to celebrate Christmas on the Ethiopian calendar.
Ethiopia is still using the julian calendar, and Christmas (known as Leddet) will be on january 07th.
I will also be there for Timkat (Epiphany), the biggest festival of the year, on january 19th.
