Brugge is a quite beautiful town-- the Medieval architecture is quite breathtaking....and the canals snaking throughout the city explain why its called the 'Venice of the North"....but the best part was walking around this small but enchanting cities cobblesttoned roads...I felt transported into some other world!!
However disappointingly Brussels turned out to be a big let down...the GRAND PLACE was full of garbage after a concert the night before...the Minneqen pis interesting however at the same time not really worth it and the Atomium a bit of a bore.
FOR all its international city status Brussels deserves better maintainence and cleanliness --and at night it turns into some kind of playground for drunkards and dopers as we found out to our peril while roaming the streets late in the night..it desperately needs a lot of improvement to live up to its title of the European Capital
