I turned 18 this summer, and got my driving licence on July 11. A dutch friend of mine owned a Citroën 2CV, and we drove on the Autobahn from Norway to Holland. Our top speed was 105km/h and we only managed to go past the trucks when we went downhill.
This was my 5. visit to Holland the last 3 years, and by then, I spoke really good dutch.
I have stayed with friends in Hengelo, Middelburg, Apeldoorn and Ijmuiden.

I was not yet a teenager when my orchestra went to England to play 4 concerts, 2 in Oxford and 2 in London.
This trip made me a anglifilian for the rest of my life.
My most pleasant memories are as follows:
- The 25 hours ferry ride
- Eating at McDonalds for the first time
- The big concert in London, playing A chorus LIne together with Lee Valley Youth Orchestra.
- Confusion of KIOSK and CHURCH
- Stratford on Avon
- Madame Tussauds
- The 3 legged dog
