Warwick Racecourse
I'm not really a gambler, but I didn't realise how much fun a day at the races can be. If planning a trip to Warwick its probably a good idea to see what's on; as it's a nice way to spend the evening. Course entry is usually around £13. more
Warwick Castle
You will need at least 2 hours to discover the Castle. It really is a wonderful example of medeival England. The best place to purchase tickets is from the Tourist Office where you save over £3 per ticket. All the staff are in period costume and each day they have a special event like a battle re-enactment. more
Peacock Garden
Just outside the grounds of the Castle is the wonderful time out Peacock Gardens. Apart from their loud cries there is twenty-four opporutnies to witness one of the birds show off. I wasn't lucky but they are worth just gazing at their beauty. more
Oken House
Once an toy museum its now a wonderful old English tea room. There is a nice air about the room, that a summer's day makes you what to drink tea, in tiny china tea cups.

Lord Leycester Hotel
The Lord Leycester is a hotel with character; it is located in the heart of Warwick around 10 minutes from the Castle. The hotel dates back to 1926 and it a restored building. The character is in the small doorways, uneven floors and low ceilings.
It's not the best hotel I've stayed in but the staff were friendly and the location convenient. more
