Perugia - Italy, Umbria The fountain is a masterpiece by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano. It was completed in 1278. It has three basins. Bottom bassin is embellished with 24 panels, representing the trades and crafts of man through the months of the year and signs of the Zodiac. Middle basin is decorated with statues symbolising Perugia, Trasimeno and Chiugi, saints and figures from the Old Testament. Top basin is bronze, work of Rosso Padellaio, representing the Three Nymphs or Water Bearers.
