It may seem strange to describe as a secret spot a place that has probably been seen by every visitor to Bragana but any visitors to Portugal do not visit Bragança in the far Northeast of the country and have no idea what is there.
There is a castle belonging to the Dukes of Bragança but more interesting are the Romanesque council chamber of pentagonal shape and a preaching cross rising out of the back of a prehistoric carved pig.
