This house was built to the design of J. Baillie Scott of the Art and Crafts movement near the very end of the 19th century. Sadly the first world war ended its life as a family home and it became rundown.
It was beautifully restored and is now a treasury of wonderful Arts and Crafts artefacts - many on loan from Leicester City Museum.
