This prehistoric site consists of the remains of what must have been fairly impressive courtyard houses. However the most interesting feature - exciting and safe for children - is a fogue. WHAT -you don't know what one is? Thank Heaven for that - I didn't either. It's an underground passage. This particular one has a low entrance which leads to an area where I [6ft 2in] can stand! The most likely use is thought to be storage but the website has some rather more exciting theories.
