Cliffe Castle |

|
Free. If you're expecting a medieval castle, think again.
In the second half of the 19th century what had been built as Cliffe Hall in the first half was expanded and renamed, a gentleman's residence par excellence.
It's set above Keighley [pronounced Keithley] on the Skipton side. Outside are a lot of numbered tres [that can be identified from a leaflet available in the museum] and some aviaries.
Inside are displays of geology, natural history, local history, stained glass, pottery and furniture.
