You may not have the luck we had when we did this with bright sun, blue sky, snow and apple blossom but in any reasonable visibility there is a fine walk here. The walk on the website should be good but last time I was at Tilbertwaite, many moons ago, the path was not passable after bad weather damage. Therefore I am actualy suggesting a direct walk back from Wetherlam to Coniston Village and a more protracted but very scenic route up the Old Man at the beginning. Get to the old copper mining track of Walna Scar 'Road' at Gr 289971 and plan a route to Coniston Old Man via Brown Pike, Buck Pike and Dow Crag. Then take the website route to Swirl How and Wetherlam.
