The museum of shipwrecks was not yet dreamt of when I was last at Hartland Quay, although that's the phone number given below.
Before the opening of the SW Coastal Path this was a place with few visitors - mainly geologists. There are no tourist magnets between Clovelly and Tintagel and anyone going to look beween would be drawn by the map to Hartland Point, a bit farther north.
It's the rock scenery at Hartland Quay that I hope might draw you there and I don't apologise for giving an advertising website, since it shows the type of scene better than anything else I found.
