This wonderful water wheel can't be called the largest in the UK for the very good reason that the Isle of Man is not part of the UK - but it is certaily bigger than any in the UK.
It was built in the middle of the 19th century to pump unwanted water from a lead mine.
It's dimensions are stunning - 72 feet 6 inches in diameter and six feet in width.
