Old Bridge Inn |

|
This is a pub as well but most people there as a rule are eating. The Old Bridge Inn, dating from the 14th century and possibly the oldest packhorse inn in Yorkshire, is only fards from the main road from Oldham or Rochdale to Halifax, although I'd bet most people travelling that road don't know it!
The bridge itself is pedetrian only and it's possible in the summer to sit outside and eat by the River Ryburn. There's a buffet at luchtime and a god selection of evening dishes - no chips, so if your children want them - too bad!
