Whitsome is a tiny village in the Borders Region of Scotland only a [long] stone throw from England. Ravelaw is in the country about half a mile from the village.
It's one of the lovely big houses typical of the region with a massive heated en-suite bedroom and great breakfast.

Very good base for border exploration in both countries.
