The stone[s] are situated on Buckland Beacon [a short walk east of the village of Buckland-in-the-Moor] at grid reference 735732. The commandments are carved on two adjacent flat stones. They are now very badly weather affected and from the photo on http://www.photoguide.to/devon/bucklandbeacon2.html you might think they were a figment of somebody's imagination. I can assure you they are real but no doubt they are worse now than when I last saw them some 45 years ago.
