This is the largest sculpture gallery in the UK outside London and it has only recently opened (June 2011). There are numerous works by Dame Barbara Hepworth (deceased) as well as works by other sculptors of the period (late 20th and 21st century) including Henry Moore. Close to Wakefield Kirkgate station but best to use Wakefield Westgate and a free bus. Entry to the gallery is free.
