A delightful riverside pub about 800 years old, reached by a fine walk [short] across Port Meadow from Oxford. Compare looking on Google for this with The Trout [qv]. I can understand more for the Trout but not this ridiculous imbalance. Its less trendy aspect has an upside. When I had digs in Binsey during my htird year it was often possible to sit and revise over a very long single pint in near solitude before the main lunch arrivals. I wonder whether it still is. It's a great place to be, anyway.
