Tintagel Castle |

What is sometimes called King Arthur's Castle is in fact a ruin of a castle built in Norman times [possibly cashing in on Arthurian legend for the site]. The structure has as much connection with King Arthur as my dog's basket.
If I had been writing this a few years ago, I should have been far more scathing about the idea of any connection between Tintagel and any possible Arthur. However, before you dismiss the idea altogether, perhaps it's worth looking at another website - www.time-scapes.co.uk/ and click in turn on Arthur in the SW and then Tintagel then click or scroll down to archaeology. I wonder!
