Calling a World Heritage site a secret spot might seem to be stretching a point but many people who go to Rome don't realise how close they are to this wonderful place. It's not a Roman Villa, dating as it does to the 16th century, but it's not 'just another grand Italian palace.' Even in a country of outstanding gardens, this one really does stand out. Its fountains are stupendous and you'd better look at the website for the organ fountain - you might not believe me!
