If you dislike long distance footpaths because of erosion, you can easily find smaller paths to give equal enjoyment of the limestone terraces as you walk towards Kettlewell.
If you go to Grassington by car, you may well prefer to go only as far as Ketlwell and return at a higher level to enjoy gritstone scenery on the same walk.
