I have thought long and hard as to whether to post my photos of Pol Pot's brutal regime onto Globo ever since I visited in May 2005.
I have done so only because the events that took place (and for many of us these events happened in our lifetimes) have shaped modern day Cambodia and form such an integral part of that history that make the country what it is today.
Cheong-Ek Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Prison Museum are two of the most upsetting and horrific places that I have ever been in my lifetime.
Why did I visit? Because it is a part of their history & as a visitor I believe that I could not understand the counrty and it's people without doing so.
