Turkeys in Tikal's by eirekay

Tikal - Guatemala, Petén Another frequent site in the rain forest is Turkeys! In fact there are "Turkey Crossing" signs along the road into Tikal! Here a family of turkeys wanders down the path in front of us early in the morning (like 6:30am). As dusk strikes, they find a clearing, take a bit of a running start and fly into the trees to spend the night away from predators. A wonderful conversation can be heard at times between the turkeys and the monkeys who appear not to appreciate their neighbors.
