Food vendors at the Little Saigon Night Market held annually from mid-June through the first weekend in September at the Asian Garden Mall (9200 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7 pm to 11 pm. This stall sells street food-type desserts popular in Vietnam, including grilled sticky rice (glutenous rice) with coconut milk and pandan leaf flavoring and fleshly-baked Taiwanese-style cakes with fillings such as taro, mung bean and durian ('sau rieng'), which is much-loved in East and Southeast Asia but definitely an acquired taste/smell. Personally, I love durian.
